 Oh hi there, I’m Chelsea

I am so so happy you’re here!

Okay ripping off the bandaid and getting into it.. I’m someone who’s always felt the ache of time moving too quickly. Maybe that’s why I fell in love with photography—because it lets me hold onto the moments that try to slip through the cracks. The quiet ones. The wild ones. The ones you don’t even realize are happening until they’re already gone.

My brother truly started this all. Watching him fall in love with the art—seeing how he chased light, motion, and meaning—as the obnoxious little sister I had to try to follow in his footsteps but quickly realized there was something there. It made me look at the world a little differently, more slowly, more curiously.

Not long after, I found myself digging through old boxes in our basement, thumbing through dusty prints my mama had taken years before. Birthdays. Camping trips. Messy, magical moments I hadn’t remembered but suddenly felt all over again. That’s when I realized—this love runs in our blood. My mom was capturing stories before I even knew how to tell them.

Now, photography is how I write letters to the world. I chase the raw, the honest, the intentional—the kinds of moments that don’t always ask to be remembered, but deserve to be.

The way a hand lingers. The breath before “I do.” The soft chaos in between.

Because the big moments matter—of course they do. But the small ones? They’re the soul.

So here I am, camera in hand, ready to notice everything.
Let’s slow time down together.

Now for some cold, hard facts shall we??

  • I am Utah based

  • I am powered by coffee and cool sunglasses.

  • I have a hairless cat named Dobby, he is my world.

  • I have cried at EVERY wedding I’ve shot (don’t you dare look at me during a father/daughter dance)

  • That picture of me sitting on that cliff in Norway? Probably the highlight of my life right there.

  • I truly believe I could be a stand-up comedian but REALLY don’t want to be humbled by trying.

  • I am still working on teaching my partner how to not get their finger in frame when taking a photo.. we will get there one day!

  • I’m a namer. I will name my car (her name is Susan), my cameras, lenses, my tattoos and any other inanimate object I see fit for a name.

  • I’ve been known to get weepy over good lighting.

  • True theatre kid at heart over here.. sorry ‘bout it.

  • For every creative shoot I do, there is a weirdly specific playlist for the vibes I strive to create.

  • 5 words about me…early onset carpal tunnel syndrome.

  • All I’m saying is if there is a moment for me to do “the worm” on a dance floor, I just might do it.
